FEIT DIRECT - Hand-Stitched Sneakers

Casey Fuchs

Feit Direct Shoes

These super minimal sneakers are hand-stitched from the finest Semi Cordovan leather and built using the highest quality natural materials. They are perfect to be worn barefoot all summer long. Historically, cordovan has been used only for luxury dress shoes. The leather is tanned using an extensive process. The hides are tanned slowly, nourished with natural oils and shaved. A century ago, when horses were still a driving force of transportation, hides were plentiful. Now they are extremely scarce and difficult to come by.

Your feet will breathe and stay cool, and the shoes will mold perfectly to your feet without retaining sweat or odor. Get a pair of these limited edition sneakers, available for men and women, online or in their NY Flagship Store.

Available in a limited edition of 60 pairs for Spring 2015 at as well as the FEIT for New York flagship.

FEIT DIRECT - The Moccasin

Casey Fuchs

FEIT’s Hand Sewn Slipper applies a modern design to a classic summer shoe – the moccasin.

Rather than hand stitching at the front, the moccasin is hand sewn at the back. Designed to be worn without socks, these shoes are uniquely constructed from one solid piece of suede.

'The Italian vegetable suede is tanned using only natural tannins and organic materials instead of chemical dyes and unnatural pigments. This ensures that the leather retains it’s ability to breathe and stay cool in the warm summer weather.'

"The FEIT Biotrainer  is constructed from start to finish by one master craftsman. Hand sewn from a single piece of english suede or leather, this shoe is left on the last for ten days where light steam is used to tighten the leather, ensuring superior shape and fit. The Biotrainer Mid features a heel counter that has been molded from high-grade leather typically reserved for English dress shoes. The buffalo leather footbed provides padding, absorbs moisture & breathes without retaining sweat or odor.
The unique sole of the FEIT Biotrainer is made of natural latex rubber from the milk of the hevea brasiliensis (rubber tree) plant. The milk is harvested by hand and poured into steel molds immersed in warm water. After one hour the sole is transferred into a cold water immersion bath that lasts up to 24 and helps to keep the rubber pores open while the material cures."
The sneaker comes in two different colors, Navy and Black. Check out some more products by FEIT on their website.
